Born in Łódź, Agata Lichoś attended the K.Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice,where she studied with Professor Jerzy Sterczyński , Professor Andrzej Jasiński (piano performance) and Professor Maria Szwajger - Kułakowska (chamber music).
In 1993 she earned Master of Music degree at Rice University in Houston,USA (class of dr Robert Roux).
She also mastered her piano skills during summer classes under the guidance of some outstanding pianists – Richard Goode, Robert Levin, Kum-Sing Lee and others.
Since 1995 Agata Lichoś has been on the faculty at the G.i K. Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź in Chamber Music Department.
She has been invited to work during music masterclasses – International Music Courses in Łańcut, Zakopane, Radziejowice, Kozłówka, Kołobrzeg and Enghien(Belgium).
She received several awards for the best accompanying pianist at national and international competitions.
